Guidance

Residents, families and friends of the Parish are all welcome to enter – it’s free for all.

Children and grandchildren are encouraged to enter any class (except Alcoholic Drink). Age-appropriate help may be given and judges will be made aware of entries made by under 16s. Extra age categories will be added to a class if there are sufficient entries.

Only one entry to each class per person, accompanied by an entry form to be received by 10.30 am on the day of the show. No late entries accepted.

The Committee will supply paper plates at the entry table for most classes. Photographic mounts for the 5” x 7” photos are also available free of charge. Entry forms also available at the entrance as well as on the website.

Please remove your entries from display between 4pm and 5pm (or ask a friend to do so). This will facilitate the tear down of the show. WPHPS shall not be responsible for loss or damage to exhibits or accessories.

The judges and entrants will be working to exactly the same standards. The judges will be looking primarily for quality and consistency but will also take into account creativity, ingenuity and effort. The judge’s decision is final and no protest entertained.
